VOID is now open for a full-time digital marketing and public relations manager based in Byron. The new position is for someone who is passionate about impact-driven conversation, to join the art of making humanity feel more human. It is also imperative that the position be held by someone with an innate understanding of aesthetic and bespoke sensory experiences, to bring our pillars of art, play, sex, love and healing to a dimension to another. You will enjoy working in fast-paced, dynamic environments where creativity is encouraged.

We are looking for an experienced digital specialist with a strong background in digital marketing strategy, content creation and public relations. You will be responsible for developing innovative digital marketing plans, as well as implementing strategies to drive audience growth. For this reason, experience and immersion in the metaverse is preferable, although a passion for learning and growing in this space is a good start.

You will understand and take responsibility for influencing opinions and behaviors in intersectional spaces, both inside and outside organizational walls. You will be able to innovate unique applications across various communication channels including social media, website, media, EDM, podcast, events and more.

Above all, you will be part of our tight-knit creative team, which is the lifeblood of our seen and felt aspects of the business, working closely with the Managing Director, Chief Creative Officer, Culture Curator and Head of social media to execute the central vision, transforming deep systems wisdom into new-age applications.

The role will require you to work throughout the life of each project, from strategy and creative development, to production, content planning and scheduling, channel monitoring and post-campaign analysis. You’ll have an established network of creative contributors, be adept at using social media listening and planning tools, and have a clear idea of ​​what works when it comes to digital content. Proficiency in a range of digital platforms is essential and a desire to stay ahead of the trending curve on social media platforms is essential in order to protect our voice and vision.

Main responsibilities:

Digital Marketing Strategy

Develop the annual marketing strategy that supports the overall brand positioning

Develop a supporting marketing communications plan including strategic goals, budget and tactics

Adhere to brand visual guidelines and edit and proofread copy

Understanding of audience acquisition best practices specific to the publishing landscape

Ability to engage directly in partnership pitches, actively seek out and pitch digital opportunities relevant to their business

Ability to imagine, create and manage experience-based marketing collaborations with third parties.

Develop an effective email marketing and content creation strategy – to drive sales, communication and brand affinity

Passion for user experience and success with implementing complex UX in previous roles

Ability to commission market research

Ability to coordinate paid and unpaid advertising

Creative writing, including captions and storytelling across commercial products and online media

Coordination and creation of marketing assets across all platforms with a focus on social media, including photos and videos that best showcase our work

Social

Oversee social media with support from our Social Media Manager, to develop and drive social and marketing strategies to increase reach, engagement and connection

Ability to analyze, manage and deliver paid campaigns across social media platforms through a channel marketing approach and review and analyze channel engagement

A passion for keeping up with the latest developments in social media – trends, platforms and strategies – and being proactive in providing actionable insights to the internal team.

Demonstrated experience managing a range of social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Youtube, Vimeo, TikTok, Twitch and Discord.

Track social media developments and proactively deliver actionable insights

PR

Develop a media relations strategy, seeking high profile placements

Planning and execution of public relations campaigns and strategies

Channel Void Public and Media Opinion Tracking

Find opportunities with our in-house written articles to promote and get them published on other platforms

Develop ongoing liaison with key opinion leaders, editors/bloggers and other editorial/advertising teams to maximize opportunities and brand perception

Management of ambassadors and creation of campaigns with influencers/social personalities

Write and edit press releases, newsletters, websites and social media content

Use all forms of media, including national, regional and trade press, to build, maintain and manage Channel Void representation

Work with designers, photographers and videographers to create content for social/web and PR

Experience

3+ years of experience in a similar role

Potential degree level in Media Business, Creative Intelligence/Innovation, Media/Arts/Production, Digital Marketing/Communications and Design + Situed Media

Skills:

Use of social media analytics and monitoring tools to gain insights and guide strategy

Strong knowledge of a range of digital platforms including WordPress, Shopify, Google Ad Manager, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Analytics, Active Campaign and G-Drive

Technology-focused and passionate about innovative ways to market the business, such as text EDM or Metaverse integration

SEO experience

Have an eye for design – confident with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and Indesign

An established network of creative contributors, photographers and filmmakers,

A strong link within young brands

Knowledge of media production and communication

Meticulous and attention to detail
