CINCINNATI – Cleveland Browns wide receiver Donovan Peoples-Jones will make his wide receiver debut as the Browns start their first game this season without Odell Beckham Jr. on the roster.
Peoples-Jones has been out since Thursday night’s soccer game against the Denver Broncos, where he suffered a pre-game groin warm-up injury. He’s been working since then and increased his training activity ahead of Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
The timing of his return is a relief for the Browns, who finalized Beckham’s release this weekend after a tumultuous week between him and the team.
