DTE Energy Foundation awards $ 80,000 in grants to Michigan-based nonprofits and offers DTE Energy volunteers to support communities


DTE and its Foundation extend their commitment to partners, communities and employees through the Your Cause, Your Choice competition

Detroit, Aug 09, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) – DETROIT, August 9, 2021 – The DTE Energy Foundation awarded eight Michigan-based nonprofits with a grant of $ 10,000 and an option for DTE employee volunteers. The Your Cause, Your Choice contest is a way for the company to demonstrate its commitment to investment and community development, by dedicating its energy to the community and building on a long and proud history of employee volunteerism and charitable donations.

The Your Cause, Your Choice competition was launched in June, through which Michigan-based nonprofits in all of DTE Energy’s service territories were nominated by DTE employees. Eligible nonprofits were then opened to public voting.
