Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson was born on October 25, 1984 in Santa Barbara, California to Mary and Maurice Hudson, both Pentecostal preachers. She was raised in a religious family.
In the years between the ages of three and eleven, Perry was constantly on the road due to his parents’ work as church planters. Eventually, she returned to Santa Barbara. She has two brothers and a sister. Sneaking CDs from pals, Perry discovered pop music while still a teenager.
