Beauty behind bars
A major exhibition opens on Friday September 17 at the Institute of Visual Arts Abrome-Engel of the UAB (AEIVA). Title Marking Time: Art in the Age of Mass Incarceration, it features works of art created by people in prison and works by non-incarcerated artists concerned with state repression, erasure and imprisonment.
