One Daytona Art Festival returns for 3rd year


DAYTONA BEACH, Florida. – One Daytona is gearing up to host more than 100 artists in partnership with Gallery500 for its third annual art festival.

The festival will take place October 22 and 23 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will feature live art, food and entertainment.

Admission to the event is free and will give collectors a chance to experience culture and sophistication with high-end artists, artisans, jazz music, live art and cash prizes for winning artists.

A mix of painters, photographers and craftspeople will be showcased in booths as well as in chalk art displays and murals.

Art by students from Volusia County schools will also be on display.

“We look forward to welcoming a wide variety of local, regional and international artists while bringing new aspects to the festival experience for the enjoyment of guests,” said Roxanne Ribakoff, President of One Daytona.

New this year is the inclusion of a Wine Walk where attendees can pay $35 and receive a passport with five tabs redeemable for a glass of wine at participating locations throughout One Daytona.

All proceeds from this year’s event will be donated to the Volusia County Visual Arts Program and ArtHaus.

The Daytona Beach Art Battle will also take place on October 22 at 6 p.m., where 12 local regional artists will compete. Tickets for this part of the event must be purchased separately.
