Visual artist Zim exhibits in Pakistan


Multi-award-winning LOCAL visual artist, Eckel Nyamhondoro, exhibits at the Pakistan International Group Virtual Exhibition organized by the Oyster Art Gallery in Pakistan.

The exhibition, which ends on December 30, is a classic display of works of art from 65 countries.

This is Nyamhondoro’s second virtual exhibition to have landed in Pakistan for the first time in 2018 thanks to an invitation from the same gallery.

“I hope and wish to become the darling of the public during my exhibition at the gallery.

This opportunity will help people all over the world to appreciate Shona art, ”Nyamhondoro said. NewsDay Life & Style.

“.. for example, John Mariga, Henry Munyaradzi, Bernard Matemera, Nicholas Mukomberanwa are considered to be the first generation Shona visual artists while the truth is not yet known…. it dates back to Madzimbabwe…. those who built Great Zimbabwe, ”he said.

Nyamhondoro produced a set of exciting figurines namely, Social distancing shouldn’t stop love and Life after COVID-19-induced containment.

In addition to exhibiting his works at the Chitungwiza Arts Gallery and the National Art Gallery of Zimbabwe, he has toured extensively around the world and gained immense popularity on various social media platforms.
